In the summer of 2003, Pastor Dan Sexton and his wife Cameron, moved to Ellicott City to begin the simple ministry of teaching the Word of God verse-by-verse, and chapter-by-chapter.  Dan and Cameron both served on staff at Coastline Calvary Chapel in Gulf Breeze, Florida, for four years before God laid it on their hearts to begin a new work in a new place. Calvary Chapel Ellicott City held its first service in August 2003.
